Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings
  • 1 kg chicken wings cleaned and patted dry
  • 1 tbsp baking powder for crispiness
Orleans Seasoning
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp dried thyme
  • 0.75 tsp salt
Finishing
  • 1 tbsp butter melted

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken wings completely dry using paper towels and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Sprinkle baking powder over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine all the Orleans seasoning ingredients.
  4. Add the seasoning to the wings and mix well. Let marinate for 20 minutes.
  5. Cook the wings in a preheated air fryer at 200°C (390°F) for 20–25 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Toss the hot wings with melted butter, serve immediately, and enjoy.

Notes

These wings can also be deep-fried or oven-baked. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dip and fresh celery sticks for a classic pairing.
